As the CEO, Sharon drives our teams to meet operational goals with her passion, competitiveness, and analytical curiosity. She develops strategies within current and new markets that lead to organizational growth. She applies her 30+ years of operations and development experience to bring creative solutions to our patients.
Sharon obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford. She is recognized across the industry for her deep skills in healthcare business development. Sharon has performed various leadership roles as CEO, COO, and Chief Development Officer across several national organizations supporting LTACH, Workers’ Compensation, and Rehabilitation facilities. Sharon recently returned to Kansas City, where she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and extended family.
Nichole Gardner

As the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Landmark Hospitals in Columbia, MO, Nichole Gardner brings over a decade of nursing experience and eight years in leadership to the forefront of patient care. With a deep commitment to optimizing healthcare outcomes, she is passionate about supporting her team, implementing evidence-based strategies, and fostering an environment where nurses feel empowered to provide exceptional care.
Nichole’s journey in healthcare began with eight years of service as a medic in the military, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care, teamwork, and operational efficiency. She started her civilian nursing career as an LPN before earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). She is pursuing a Master’s in Nursing Informatics at Western Governors University, focusing on integrating technology into nursing practice.
Specializing in women’s health, Nichole has led initiatives to enhance patient safety, streamline workflows, and improve nursing protocols through data-driven decision-making. Her leadership philosophy is rooted in collaboration, professional growth, and a dedication to advancing healthcare with integrity and innovation.
A proud Mid-Missouri native, Nichole lives with her spouse and daughter, balancing her professional dedication with family life. She remains committed to shaping the future of nursing and patient care, ensuring that every decision she makes contributes to a healthier, stronger community.
